Run 187 - Airport to Main

I’d been putting this route off because, well, running along a busy highway isn’t something I looked forward to doing but, with the last run of this project coming soon, this one had to be done.  Shelley and I were ferried up to the airport about 6:30am and we started off on what was, sort of, a downhill run.

We saw a nice sunrise hidden behind clouds and smoke.

Our out-and-back is on Rimtop Drive which goes to the Airport Business Park on the northeast end of the airport.  The road goes back for about 3/4 mile and has curves and hills.

There are a few businesses housed here at the end of the road.

There is even some wildlife.

And some nice views.

We got back on the highway and headed east and, thankfully, all downhill.  We ran past a large electrical substation.

The distance was almost exactly as predicted.  Only 5 more runs to complete this project.
