Run 107 - Finishing off a West End Neighborhood

September 4, 2023

It’s a holiday so Shelley joined me at 7am this morning to finish off this neighborhood we’ve been pecking away at for that past couple weeks.  It had rained overnight so the humidity was high but the air temperature was cool making it pleasant enough for a run.

The morning sunrise was worth getting up and out for.

The sun is striking the hills south of the city.

These streets today are sort of closed neighborhoods in that the area is bounded by 46th on the west, Shilo on the east, Rimrock on the north, and Rangeview and an irrigation ditch on the south.  It’s a bit upscale and some of the houses are pretty big.

This section only has one way in so I am sure that the fire department required this additional egress point when the plans went in for review.  This opens on to Poly Drive.

We haven’t figured out what that little building is or why there’s a porta-potty next to it.

Some nice clouds.

This streets ends with someone’s swimming pool.

This is the House of Seven Garages.

We found a small city park.  Emphasis on the small.

A few more larger than average houses.

Not all streets go through.  It could have but they probably wanted to keep the riff raff out.

That same small park from the southwest corner.

The clouds get better and better.

That was it.  About 5-1/2 miles.
