It’s another Saturday run so back to the Heights with Shelley to tour some streets east of the new(er) middle school. It’s in the low 50s and sunny so pretty comfortable compared to last week’s rain and snow.
The route maps this week has lots of straight, long streets to cover.
Wer headed east on Barrett. Here we are looking west from Hawthorne and Barrett.
Much of this area is still rural. Here’s a bunch of chickens.
Looking south on Bitterroot.
While there is a sameness to most of the homes here, this one on Cheryl is pretty cool.
We stopped to check out the equipment at Hawthorne Park. Lots of fun stuff in this neighborhood park.
This house at Columbine and Janie likes the iris and each one has a name tag. I have to come back when they are in bloom.
This place has a condo bird house.
Carroll Heights Circle. A dead end off Barrett.
Nearing the end we did the loop on Echo Drive. It’s unpaved and has a very rural feel.

It was a good 7 mile run but by the end I was ready to be done. That’s probably because of the two days of working on my motorcycle.
