The season is changing as it was very dark out at 5:30am when Shelley and I met up for our Friday morning run. No moon to light up the sky a bit so Shelley got out her headlamp to help guide us. Today’s route puts us through a neighborhood I have never traveled through.
I didn’t take many photos as there really wasn’t much to look at and it was dark. I did spot this old car.
We decided to cut 1/2 mile off the run. Look at the photo below. The route had us heading west on Grand to 43rd, north on 43rd to its end, and then back to this point. The photo makes it appear lighter out than it was. There is no shoulder here and a far bit of traffic so we abandoned this for a later and brighter time.
We turned into the Tender Nest assisted living neighborhood.
That was it, a shorter run than we usually do but we’ll get out for a longer one tomorrow.
