It’s Tuesday so a 7-mile run, or close to it, is on the agenda. I got started a bit later than usual, about 7:45am, but the neighborhoods I’m covering today have lots of shade so it is a comfortable run ahead of the 95 degrees predicted for today. I made up a route that continues on from where I left off, east of 32nd Street and north of King Ave.

Run 105 - Granger Avenue
August 29, 2023
This subdivision (Harvest Granger?) is unique in that there are no sidewalks along the streets, rather, the developer put in a green space and sidewalks behind the houses. The streets are all curvy with lots of dead ends so having a map made sure I didn’t miss anything or get lost. The one change I made when I was out there was that up on the top of the map it shows me going out and back on Windmill Circle. Instead, when I got to the southeast end of the street, I turned west on Canyon which was a bit shorter and I didn’t have to do that short out-and-back on Wheatstone.
I have noticed that pretty much every dead end street has a fire hydrant at the end. I usually do my turn around at them. This is on the south end of Windmill Circle and that’s Big Sky Elementary School in the background.
There a couple dogs going berserk in this house and one, a medium-sized dog, was jumping with both feet against that window which I could see flexing a bit.
