A few weeks ago I ran park of Forest Park, a subdivision of upscale homes with twisting streets. That went well so today I headed out to do the remaining streets and thought I’d get a 4 mile run out of the outing. I ended up getting a little more. I missed a turn and, well, got lost. I had my map and pulled my location up on my phone and still couldn’t figure out where I was or what to do next. I headed north for a block and that didn’t make sense so I turned around and ran back the way I’d come and finally figured out that I’d missed a turn. I got back on track and by the time I got back home it was a 4.68 miles run rather than just a 4. No big deal but I sure was confused for a bit.
Here’s my planning map:
Seems simple, right. Anyway, here’s some photos from along the way.
