Run 168 - The Heights above Two Moon Park

April 29, 2024

A beautiful Monday morning run with no wind and temperature in the mid-40s.  It was time to get a few more streets in the Heights checked off so I started at Primrose Park, a nice, neighborhood park with playground and a large, well-maintained green space.

The route kept me a few blocks to the north of Yellowstone River Road where it travels above Two Moon Park.

The streets are really quiet as most people are at work by now.

The find of the day, a 9mm, socket that is.

From the north end of Linden looking south.

On Yellowstone River Road.

No sidewalks on Yellowstone River Road.

But there is a path on the berm.

The south end of Cottonwood looking north.  The bike path is on the left.

The east end of Eldora looking west.

Kenneth and Dorothy.  They make a nice couple.

Yellowstone River Road near the Bench roundabout.  It says coffee and brewery.  Something tells me it refers to “brewing” coffee.

The Bench roundabout.

No shortcuts.

There 4 of these out-and-back streets that go through a mobile home park.

Kelly Lane.

Does this apply to e-bikes too?

A shortcut across the ditch at the east end of Dorothy.

Looking down on Two Moon Park.

With no sidewalk along Yellowstone River ROad, I opted for the sort of trail on top of the berm.

A nice run and some nice scenery.
