Run 135 - South of Grand by 54th

We’ve seen lots of snow and cold weather in the past 48 hours so when Shelley talked about our usual 5:30am Friday morning run I was glad to hear that she had the day off and we could head out a bit later when it “warmed up.”  It was 8 degrees when I got up at 5:30am and supposed to hit 14 by the time we agreed to run.

We met at the new Albertsons on Grand and 54th, where I ran from last Monday, and headed south of Grand to take a shot at those streets.

It was a good run and didn’t feel like 5 mile.  Yes, it was chilly but I was layered up and quite comfortable.  It lightly snowing the whole way.

This neighborhood is very new and many houses are still under construction.  With the snow and gray sky everything sort of looks the same.

That was it.  I started my watch but for some reason it didn’t record the run but Shelley sent me the map from hers.
