Today I logged 6.2 miles on the project but didn’t make a specific map for the course as it is Saturday and the running club has a 7am run from the YMCA downtown and I figured I’d just use that. Two of the regulars were gone but three others showed up and they had no problem with my suggestion that we run to the end of the bike trail at Mystic Park. One of the guys was looking for a 10K and since the turnaround is 3.1 miles from the start, this route is perfect.
It was about 25 degrees when we started but seemed a bit cooler as we got closer to the river. It was pretty laid back and we had had some good conversation along the way. While I’ve run this many times, we did a couple short out-and-backs to pick up some dead ends. They were fine with that and interested in the project.
