Run 110 - A couple orphan streets

September 9, 2023

It’s Saturday morning and Shelley’s gone fishing so I decided to go to the RI’m Runners group run and see if any runners showed up.  There were two and they are WAY faster than I can go so I ended up running by myself (again).  That’s not a problem as I don’t need others in orders to do stuff, just like I wrote about on my motorcycle blog.

I hadn’t made up a route map but did look on my master pap and noticed that the 27th Street overpass and a piece of Garden Avenue had not been run yet so I decided that going to Mystic Park via these streets would be just the thing.

I left at 7am and headed through downtown Billings, past the setting up of the farmer’s market, and then past South Park.  I got on 27th and headed up the overpass that crosses the freeway.

I turned on Garden Avenue and saw this wildlife.

Some new “No Camping” at Mystic Park.  They don’t appear to be aggressive about it.

New paving at the parking lot.

Out to the Yellowstone River.

Fall colors are on the way.

On the way back I took the newly remodeled tunnel under the freeway.

That was it. A nice leisurely run on a Saturday morning.
