Shelley told me she wanted to do another 5:30am run so we met at our usual spot on 38th Street West. I did a planning map and it required a bunch of overlapping in order to cover the first block of streets.
We looped through this very quiet residential neighborhood which is pretty plain and unexciting.
When we finished that section up we were on Colton Blvd and had a nice view across the valley.
Those living on Colton better enjoy the view while they have it because “luxury” apartments are quickly filling the land.
This house made an effort to look a bit different.
Not weeds but plants for the pollinators.
I had this street on my map but, as I’ve decided, private roads I’ll run on unless they specifically say “No Trespassing” like this one. No problem as we just ran down Zimmerman instead, another street that I needed to add eventually.
To add some distance, we took the bike trail to continue south on 38th across the ditch. My map indicated that we’ve run this street, an out and back, but it was pretty clear they didn’t want mine there.
We did the next block as planned but made up for not running that one street by adding a block to the west. When we got back we to 38th, we headed back north. Here’s where the bike path crosses the ditch.
Another day, another run.
