It was a another Saturday morning run for the Rim Runners and while there were a half-dozen runners that showed up, it was only Shelley who wanted to run this route with me:
The others did the “traditional” route. This one was pretty simple, lots of north and south meandering through downtown Billings and a bit to the east. The weather was great, about 20 degrees F so I went with shorts and a couple layers of t-shirts. Gloves were a must.
Here’s some photos I shot along the way.
Just off Montana Ave we saw this and went in for a closer look. It’s an old BMW that has seen better days and now appears to be used as a planter.
There is still a bit of ice around, some of it creating some interesting patterns.
I’m not sure how much these tracks are used these days.
That was about it. A 6.2 miles run.
